The moon clock shows the image of the moon as it would look if you could see the moon, like on a clear dark night without clouds.

On the moon phase clock, you always know which phase the moon is in. The lunar cycle is 29.5303882 days.

The moon phase clock is designed like a regular clock, yet very different.

The "hour hand" indicates the actual moon phase and is 29.5305882 days in a "12 hour" rotation.

The "second hand" moves "one second" forward every 59 seconds.

So this acts as a slower clock that keeps track of the moon phases.

The clock uses one AA/LR06 battery.

An optional mount suitable for boat or living room wall mounting is available so that the instrument can be easily taken down and adjusted.
