Tom Stepp says that one evening he came to a hotel in Stockholm. He was unable to contact staff as the receptionist's bell was missing - it had been stolen - again.

This is where the idea arose to make a receptionist bell that makes every pocket lining burst - it weighs 1 kg and has a very nice sound.

It is made of cast brass.
