SCHATZ

August Schatz in Triberg manufactured watches from 1958 until the company went bankrupt in 1982.
After that, Schatz instruments have been manufactured in several places, e.g. Staiger who was a very experienced producer. Staiger was the first to develop a quarts-controlled movement for watches.
Staiger merged with Kundo, but they went bankrupt, after which Schatz instruments were produced in Switzerland and later at Altitude in France.
In 2012, Delite in Denmark took over the production of Schatz and at the same time Altitude.
