A fishing net on the wall together with a couple of beautiful oars or paddles and a flag garland with antiklook flags is very cozy in the fish shop or the cottage's living room.

Ship's steering wheel and lifebuoy are also fine decoration. The ship's steering wheel can withstand hanging outdoors, while the lifebuoy can be a little sad about not being kept inside.
Both the ship's steering wheel and the lifebuoy are decorative versions of the original gear.

Floating weights or fish balls are used for all kinds of decoration. Some use them in garden beds, some hang them on the wall or in the trees and some use them in beautiful mirror pools. They are made of mouth-blown glass and can withstand being outside all year round, but those that are in water should probably be picked up before the frost sets in.

The portholes with mirrors are beautiful decoration for e.g. bathroom and entrance hall, and the beautiful portholes with glass for installation are very popular in the cottage's bathroom and especially in restaurant doors between the kitchen and dining room.

And the ultimate in maritime decoration is a beautiful diving helmet in brass and copper. More nostalgic than this can the decoration hardly be. Buy a wooden base so that the diving helmet is stable.
